Great dining experience! Excellent portions! All of the meats were so tender & juicy! The sides were delightful and satisfying. The potato salad was sweet & savory and the texture was smooth & creamy. The cucumber salad was crisp & boldly flavorful and the mac and cheese was super cheesy!

- fries: 9/10. Thick cut means crispy outside, fluffy inside. Not over salted.
- ribs: 7/10. A bit tough and slightly over seasoned. Nowhere close to the ribs my wife makes.
- pulled pork: 10/10. Not usually my favourite as it tends to dry out but this was excellent with the bbq sauce provided.
- sausage: 9/10. Excellent as well. A little heat but amazing flavour. Again not dry which often ruins sausages from bbq joints.
- brisket: 9/10. I don’t even want to know how much marbling there was on this cut before it was smoked. Melt in your mouth but incredibly salty at the end, which is expected.
- ham: 1/10. Salty yet somehow bland at the same time.
- potato salad: 7/10. Mayo city. Remember KFC macaroni salad? It’s that but with spuds instead of pasta.
- overall: 9/10. Excellent first time Texas BBQ experience.
- packaging: 5/10. maintained temp during DoorDash delivery but lost points for plastic bag, 2 styrofoam containers, and individually wrapped plastic utensils.

The entire fish dinner was delicious and a great value for the price. Fishers hot, crispy on the outside. flakyon the inside and very fresh. Fries. hot and flavorful All condiments were packed well. Plastic ware included.
I love Pappas. Always consistent. They should add a choice of brisket to their -I like lose cut brisket. They should also offer er soft drinks like coke products tithe Door Dash menu.

Rib trio is a great menu item. It plenty of reall good ribs enough for two people. Potato salad is very well made and tasty. Beans with sa in them almoosmeal in themselves. The carrotcake is a taste sensation.

Wow!! My family and I are visiting Houston and decided to try Pappas Bar-B-Q as we are from an area in another State that is home to some amazing BBQ so we wanted to see how Pappas lined up and we must say it was a big hit!! We ordered ribs, pulled pork, and beef brisket with their sweet BBQ sauce and all of the meats were fresh and hot, very flavorful, had a great smoky taste, and all of the meats were cooked to absolute perfection! The portion was plenty for all of us to share and well worth the price. For sides we ordered dirty rice, which was very tasty the rice had a little bit of spice which made it taste great, Mac n cheese was also good and creamy, and the hand cut fries were our favorite, they were so flavorful and the thickness of the fries was appreciated as well! We would definitely order from Pappas again! Pappas maybe you should consider expanding to the east coat!
