FOOD was great- chicken 3 whole Wings with Fries ; wings have a very pleasant crispiness to them! Not a lot of meat on them. They are skinny, check the pictures! Bourbon sauce was great. Fries were gross. Zero seasoning. I added salt and pepper. Honestly inedible. I dipped them in the bourbon sauce to finish them. Rice and beans were great! Barbecue baked chicken was fantastic. Incredibly well cooked! You could not handle this chicken without it falling apart! The sauce is mild, it's not hot or VERY flavorful. But, this is the safe approach and i wont judge them for it. Sweet Plantains as a side are expensive. $5 for six pieces(pictured). However, they were sweet/ripe and well cooked!
SERVICE was extremely slow and lacked any attention to detail- I was called by the driver to inquire on what sides i wanted. The DD app doesnt allow you to choose the entree without choosing both sides! The driver also pointed out they didn't start my order til she arrived to the restaurant and inquired on it. Driver also mentioned a 30+ minute wait is a regular experience here. For context: my order was scheduled by 8am and acknowledged by the restaurant by 3pm. My driver had not arrived til nearly 4pm. I see little excuse here. I want to give them a 3 star review. But, food is the priority here and they did that well.

Oxtails and Fish Hoagie (Whitening) I ordered overtime I don't feel like cooking. I love these dishes. Great portion sizes. I loved supporting local businesses and this one to support. For anyone wanting to know the oxtails are savory- love, not sweet- yuck! The potato salad, Mac n cheese, and the collard greens are my favorite sides. The fish sandwich is huge not light. You will have leftovers!

TOP TIER FOOD, Portions might look little but those trays are deep. Food was fresh as always, I would most definitely order this one hundred time more. THAT Strawberry Lemonade IS POPPING WITH FLAVOR, Props to whoever made that recipe.

All I have to say is Pecan Tree Cafe can take my $$ any day!!!! I tried them for the first time the food was phenomenal the catfish was crisp, the yams were so good and paired great with the red beans & rice I ordered to go and I love how they wrapped the food up with parchment paper so nothing got soggy 10/10 will be back VERY soon to try everything else good portion sizes too!

I eat here multiple times a week, I am hooked. That oxtail gravy is crack, and all of the side dishes are delicious. When I want to splurge I get the seafood salad, that is so good and creamy and loaded with crabmeat. By far the best food I've ever had.
