This is the second order I've had with this restaurant in a week. I've been craving some good BBQ for a minute. I've had their tips and hot links and I really enjoyed them. The sauce is as they say....simple. It's not thick or flavored in sugar. It simply compliments the meat and goes very well with their thin cut fries (which are really good). The rib tips are well seasoned and the hot links aren't really hot but mild so if you don't like it too hot but still a lil kick, it'll be just right. The rib tips had a good balance of tender from the middle pieces and crunch on the end thinner pieces but even the crunch was a glide thru your teeth bite and not tough. If you don't like BBQ that's laced in sugary sauce but a good flavor that compliments well seasoned meat (but not salty), then you'll like Peter Rays.

It was so good.! Finally a barbecue place in Hammond Indiana that doesn't parboil their ribs before putting them on the grill.! The sauce was good... very friendly staff.! I'll definitely be back for sure.!

I was so impressed with freshness of the meat and preparation of the sandwiches. He's brought BBQ To Hammond!! I've been eating from Peter Rays for the last past 8 days for lunch, it's just that good

Did not taste nothing like barbecue. The ribs was really hard and burnt, Some of it was super soft and sticky and also had a sour smell to it. I would not recommend it.

All the meat was dry and burnt.... fries and sauce were good.
