I just returned from living in the Yucatan, near Cancun. I lived there for twenty years. The culture, once you leave the resort towns of Costa Maya, is warm and inviting. The meal I received this evening reminded me of the favors of the Yucatan. The presentation is different but the flavor was bang on.

Wow! This is my staple meal from any Mexican restaurant- and they really do one of the best chicken fajitas! Meat was juicy and not overcooked- portions were generous, the peppers and garnish were fresh- ABSOLUTELY ordering again!

The vegetarian burrito here is GREAT. It has real vegetables in it. It is enormous, includes sour cream and guacamole. It also comes with chips and salsa.

It's been a long time Puerto Vallarta! my family has been fan favorites since your location in South Tacoma. Heart broken when that location closed is an understatement. So when I opened DD an saw there was a location close by for many years right under our noses you can imagine my surprise! I've missed the Pollo En Crema like a long lost friend. This meal was a gateway meal to my long love affair to all things Mexican. It was everything i remembered and more.
Their Pollo En Crema is #1.An original. Many places attempt this dish, but it is never the same. Puerto Vallarta does it right! You'll be seeing a lot more of my family real soon.

I've been coming here since I was a lil baby and their food has always been to notch. No matter where I go in the country or abroad I have yet to find anyone who can beat their food or especially their fresh chips and salsa!
