We moved out east from Queens and have been looking for a restaurant that sells authentic Sancocho when we're feeling sick or want hearty soup. Everything we've had from Punto Rojo has been great. Sancocho de Gallina Grande / Large Hen Sancocho as a Sunday Special has been so helpful and delicious. It has all the staple starches like yuca and platano; and they add corn. The broth is flavorful and herbaceous. The portions with every meal we order in general is very large , and we love that the soup is separate from the meat and rice. Great deal!

Ordered Number 43. since it was my first time. It came with three types of meat (steak, chicken, pork skin) and all the fixings (3 sauces, Rice, beans, sweet plantains, avocado, and corn bread) . The portion was huge so we'll worth the money! I am going to make 3 meals out of it!

Literally the best 12. Huevos Rancheros / 12. Ranch Style Eggs I've had in the entire tri-state area. For years, I have been searching far and wide for good huevos rancheros in New York, and I FINALLY FOUND THEM! **Absolutely fantastic!** cooked to perfection. Eggs were cooked exactly how I requested them and everything arrived piping hot. Don't forget to order the Crema Centroamericana / Central American Cream to put on top. All of the sauces are great. Everything was super fresh and flavorful and you can definitely taste the love that is put into the food! The only downside is I'm so full, I think I ate myself into a food coma! I will 100% be recommending this restaurant to everyone I know.

36. Mini - Bandeja / 36. Mini - Platter was delicious. Big portion and good flavor. I would definitely order it again. Mini Empanada was really small but it was tasty. I was disappointed with thePorción de 3 Leches / 3 Leches Ration . I got one with cinnamon which i dont like, i prefer the plain one with berries. But overall good food!

I ordered the mondongo soup and it was amazing the portion was great and it was very fresh great job punto rojo and that's to my dasher for getting here so fast. I can't wait to order this again.
