This is the second time I've ordered from Raices' and just, wow. The quality - consistent. The packaging - so good for delivery. The flavors - omg, fantastic. 

Arroz con Gandules / Rice with Beans has such an addicting flavor (the olives threw me for a loop the first time, but I *love* what it adds)! The Mofongo Relleno con Pollo / Stuffed Chicken Mofongo is new to me, but also absolutely delicious. The chicken was the teeniest bit dry on some bites but with the mofongo (adore how garlicky it is!) and red onions, you don't even care. And last but by far not least, the Pastelón...oh my, so this is one of my recently discovered favorite dishes. The sweetness of the gorgeously cooked plantains layered with the beef and cheese is one of the most unique flavor combinations I wouldn't never thought I'd love this much. 

I'm so thrilled to have stumbled upon this place (especially as someone with allergies) and I'm excited to explore their other options! (I will be getting the Pastelón every time tho haha)

Amazing! I will definitely be ordering again. The smell was incredible, the flavor was delectable, the portion was much bigger than expected, it's fresh, hot. The Mofongo con Carne Frita / Mofongo with Fried Beef is amazing, the Pasteles so good and the Arroz con Gandules / Rice with Beans reminds me of back home. Thank you!

The food was wonderful and there was lots of it.  all of the meats (pork and chicken) were so tasty that we wanted more!  The rice had just the right amount of spices and mixed with the pork perfectly.  The skin on the chicken was crispy and so flavorful!  We will definitely order again!!

Delicious! Chicken was so tender. I requested the rice with pigeon peas be substituted for the white rice and beans. The rice and peas were really good as well. Great sized portions, everything was very flavorful.

the Arroz Blanco con Habichuelas con Chuleta / White Rice and Beans with Pork Chop was great. What I have an issue with is that I was told the store was out of Tembleque, and they overcharged me $1.08 for a Flan de Queso Crema / Cream Cheese Flan ... then I find a tembleque without a lid on and splattered inside the bag. Also, the Malta India is missing from the order.
