I’ve ordered the tandoori pomfret from this restaurant more than 15–20 times, and it has been excellent most of the time. I know exactly what the usual portion and presentation look like.

I only had one disappointing experience in the past, when the fish was extremely hard, almost like it had been frozen for too long. I informed the restaurant about it at the time, but I also made it clear that I wasn’t upset because the food had been good every other time.

Unfortunately, today was extremely disappointing. The fish I received was almost half the size I normally get, and it didn’t even look like a complete fish. It looked like a much smaller or leftover portion.

I called the restaurant, and the staff spoke with the chef. The chef said the size and portion were the same. Respectfully, after ordering this dish 15–20+ times, I know the difference. This was clearly not the portion I’ve received before.

Chef, when a dish is prepared and ready to be served, I believe the final quality and portion should be checked before it reaches the customer. I always prefer ordering from this restaurant because I’ve genuinely enjoyed the food, which is why this experience was especially disappointing.
After today’s experience, I may not consider ordering from this restaurant anymore
