I had previously rated Rumali a solid 5 stars, but after my recent experience, I'm compelled to downgrade it to just 1 star.
On 08/24/2024, I ordered the Mutton Galouti Kebab, a dish I've enjoyed here before. However, this time, not only was it devoid of any flavor, but the meat was also undercooked—a fundamental mistake that should never happen in any restaurant, let alone one charging $16.99 for a dish.
Rumali, you're in the business of providing a service, not a charity. Customers pay to enjoy your food, and it is your responsibility to ensure that what you serve is not only edible but also meets a certain standard of quality. Serving undercooked meat is unacceptable, and it's something I can't overlook.
I am deeply disappointed by this experience, and I hope the management takes this feedback seriously. Quality and consistency are key in the restaurant industry, and sadly, both were missing in my recent visit.

As a corporate office, we placed a super important group order days ahead with the note that we really needed the food to be delivered on time. We even called every day to remind them and the lady who answered the phone confirmed. Yet when the day came for our board lunch, not only was the food an hour late in preparation, but whenever we'd call to check they would blame the doordash driver? The driver sat there for a long time waiting for the food. They showed no care or concern that they were not prepared and super delayed. We paid over $400 in food for it to arrive so late that most guests were upset and bought their own food.
The biggest let down though? All of us here in the office agreed that once we go the food, it was absolutely NOT worth the wait. It was mid at best, with the flavors dull and the rolls dry. Very unhappy with our experience and we won't be ordering from here again.
Quite frankly, the food is inconsistent, and the customer service is remarkably poor. They carry a huge "I don't care" attitude toward their customers and that such a disappointment.

Murg Sula was excellent, Lucknowi Tandoori Murg was very dry and not tasting good, Subj Haryali Tikka was only hot and spicy with no taste. Please improve

Horrible customer service. Pre-ordered days ahead of time for a corporate event and they were still an HOUR LATE. Called multiple times just to have the restaurant blame DoorDash, even though the dasher waited for the order to be ready for almost 45 mins. They literally did not care whatsoever about any issues, essentially told me "it is what it is". Never ordering from here again, the food wasn't even worth the wait. At least make the food memorable. Bland, plain, disappointing.
