I love Ruyi Express! They're the only Chinese restaurant I go to in Hampton Roads. Their food is reliably flavorful and reasonably priced! Tried the Wonton Egg-drop Soup for the first time tonight and very happy -- their wontons are so flavorful, which sometimes is hard to come by. Also my go-to spot for crab rangoons. Literally the only place in the area worth paying for it at.

The mongolian beef was very watery, there was no flavor at all and it was just bland with just a few pieces of beef, but there were so many big chunks of onions. That's really all that you could see (just like in the picture) and most of the pieces of beef were very tough. I will not order this again. I ordered this before and it was watery and tasteless then, but I just didn't do a review.

I ordered from Ruyi Express, and everything was absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich, the portions were generous, and the food arrived hot and fresh.
The Wonton Egg-drop Soup is easily the best soup I’ve ever had—it’s the perfect combination of both classic soups, with a rich, comforting broth that was amazing on a cold and snowy night. The 51. Pork with broccoli was flavorful, with tender pork and perfectly cooked, bright green broccoli. The Chicken Pad Thai was so delicious, full of great flavors and texture. The 6. Crab Rangoon (6) were just right perfect golden color—not overly sweet, with a great balance of crispy and creamy.
This is definitely the best Chinese food in Hampton. If you’re looking for hot, flavorful, and well-portioned food, you have to check them out! Highly recommend.

Ordered 8. Boneless Spare Ribs, 37. House Special Lo mein, and A13. Bourbon Chicken. The quantity was enough to last several days, and unlike some other places I've ordered from, A13 wasn't tough. Everything was cooked excellently and tasted great. Will definitely be ordering here more often.

The 7. Homemade Sweet Tea was refreshing. The 90. Chicken Wings with Garlic Sauce (8) with a side order of French fries was a great choice. Wings were sweet and spicy with crunchy fries even with them being delivered. Very filling! The C2. Sesame Chicken will be enjoyed for a great lunch meal. Definitely will return for cuter Chinese cravings. Sorry no pics I ate it all lol
