Hands down the best place to order a classic deli sandwich- they slap every time.
(occasionally there have been instances where details of my order like- the specific cheese I chose isn't right, or like in this instance, the Jumbo Cookies (2 ct) flavor I selected isn't what I ordered-
but regardless my sandwich will hit every time & I have American cheese at home, simple fix. also I always select, "refund if option is unavailable", but the cookie substitution chosen for me was honestly really good anyways so I don't really mind)

I would like to premise that I still believe the Safeway Deli is a 10/10 place to go regarding deli sandwich's(Create Your Own Cold Sandwich - Regular ).
That being said, reluctantly, I'll have to review that I was disappointed with my order in this instance.
For my order I only received 1 out of the 2 Chocolate chip cookie packs (2 Jumbo Cookies (2 ct)) that I paid for, and additionally, I was given 2 different spreads, directly disregarding my "no spread" selection.
The missing part of my order I don't really hold against the establishment because I have no idea what happens between the orders journey from point A to point B.
But the excess of sauce was disheartening to say the least considering a 5 star review I've left recently. Raving about how in spite of the fact that, in my experience, the customer's selected preferences tend to be overlooked/not followed, at the end of the day the product is still good, and surely worth the money.
Up until this instance that was my opinion, but I'm wavering in this opinion that it's okay to pay for an order that isn't 100% accurate because human error is natural & inevitable- but to have had this happen to me so many times from the same establishment already, to have my preferences disregarded to an extent where I cannot fix it at home. I don't know.
at the end of the day it's probably my fault for caring enough to comment on it.
