The sushi here is amazingly high quality. Fresh, flavorful, and they are very generous with the size of the rolls! Special rolls are very decently priced considering how beautifully garnished they are, even with to-go orders. I am always impressed when I open my orders! They even added a free miso soup. Classic rolls are also delicious!

Ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, Gyoza and some Alaska Rolls. Ramen came with no attempt from shop to be appetizing. Maybe 1 tablespoon of ground pork, eggs not cut, no veg, and smallest "add on" portions of any place I have visited. Alaska Roll was maybe 1 inch thick with undercooked rice. Overall very overpriced ($40+) what you you get (quantity and flavor). Will not be ordering from them in the future

This is the BEST sushi place on Door Dash right now. I remember when they opened a few years ago in Virginia Beach... beautiful and delicious. I live in Chesapeake now and have tried ordering from closer restaurants but they all seem to be over-sauced and way too sweet. When I saw Sakatomo was on the app (after extending my search area a little) I got excited. Have ordered here twice now and the sushi is always excellent. Looks great, tastes great wonderful colors, fresh, so happy <3. Thank you!!!

So high quality and so so tasty every time. I ordered the dinner of 3 handrolls that come with a house salad and miso soup. I did not know that and ordered a salad ala carte. The crab handroll is Krab Stix, but enjoyable, the salmon skin had more salmon attached and tasted delicious, not drowning in overly salty eel sauce like most places. The third roll was spicy salmon and again the flavor is natural and not buried in sauce. Also ordered the ala carte eel nigiri which was outstanding.
Love this place for dine-in too. In a town full of mediocre sushi this place shines as an example of how it should be done.

Very disappointed. Tried them for the first time tonight. I've never seen such piddly pieces of a la carte sashimi ever! Those three pieces of salmon? $9.99! The squid behind it, cost the same! The gyoza dumplings were greasy and cold. The only thing I can say that was good is the gyoza dipping sauce. And on top of all this, it was 40 mins late. So by that time we were REALLY hungry. Too bad. I'm used to ordering sashimi and it not being cheap. I'm not used to paying so much for so little.
