The Squid Kebob (4 Pcs) 烤鱿鱼串（4串）was so hard to chew like a rubber... The sauce was a weird sweet sauce with minimal chili and sesame seeds... This was nothing like authentic Northeastern Chinese bbq.
The pork liver dish Braised Pork 一品肝尖
was undercooked, showed red/pink on the liver pieces and tasted extremely bloody and bitter for some reason. We had to microwave it for an extra minute to make it barely edible.
Fried Sweet & Sour Pork 锅包肉 was supposed to be their signature dish, yet breading was all clumpy, starchy, sticky and soggy when arrived (which was shortly after driver picked up the dish ~10min) and meat was tough.
As a northeasterner, I am deeply saddened and disappointed to have such high expectations of this restaurant as we rarely have decent northern food in US, and 2 of my friends recommended) and realized the restaurant failed so miserably. With such quality of food, I don't know how they even exist till this day as a restaurant featuring northeastern food.
