The food here was excellent! Truly a sushi gem in Hyde Park. Very high quality fish and flavors. I will definitely be ordering from here again. The fish bento was better than expected. Tempura was excellent and sushi was fresh with perfectly cooked rice.

I was upset about the sashimi quality (so thin cuts, it's embarrassing), but there are no better places around. I'm a big sushi fun, and honestly I don't know good places here in Chicago. If you've even been to Japan, you'd get what I mean. It's not authentic.
But the scallops were fresh and tasty! Salmon roe was mediocre, they did better before

Everything was perfect! Nice big fresh sushi pieces. Flavor was great! The food was pcmagwd nicely too! Love the Takoyaki 8 Pieces and Spicy Shrimp Maki (5) the most. The Spicy Lava Maki (6) and Godzilla Maki (10) was great too!

10 out of 10 for Everything! I tried something different which was the Oshinko + Avocado Maki (5). the pickled veggies gave the Maki a fresh taste. The spicy Tuna (6) was a little more spicy then I expected but that was ok with me.
My guy really liked the Kani Bomb Maki (10) because it was deep fried.The Spider Maki (5) was different for my taste as well but I loved it. I had eel sauce from my last order so I used my leftover sauce with the Mini Gozzilla Maki (5). That sent the taste over the edge!
I will order from here again and again and again! Definitely my favorite spot.

Everything was AMAZING!!! This was the first time that the reviews were accurate and lived up to the hype. Everything was seasoned and the sushi was fresh. We just wished that we had more ginger and wasabi. It was all reasonable priced.
