The fish was fresh, I think! I know it was delicious... the breading was perfect, huge serving and it's not just all breading for sure. They were out of the famous whatever chocolate cake. Bummer, maybe I should have tried something else. The onion rings were awesome too! Are they the local onions? I think they could be... again, great breading.

I ordered an all-star breakfast with grits with cheese, 2 eggs over medium, crispy bacon and a biscuit. I enjoyed it so much. You can tell the grits were cooked a while. They were very good. The eggs were just right and the bacon, oh the bacon, there were several pieces of the best crispy bacon. The biscuit was so tender.
I say, try it. You won't be disappointed.

Portions were disappointing. MASHED POTATOES WITH BROWN GRAVY was drowned in gravy. The SPAGHETTI DINNER was dry, hardly any meat sauce, and the mozzarella cheese that cost extra was hardly visible. The salad did not come with the meal as advertised.

fried okra and mash potatoes was great but the fried chicken was on a whole new level, better that KFC or popeyes. Just like mom would make.
