Skyline gets my order right every time. Their chili isn't overloaded with cinnamon like Gold Star either. I'll stick with them and their sister store, La Rosas.

I'm not sure which employee made my order, but I believe they were sent by heaven as an angel to make the most delicious coneys and chili cheese fries. Crispy, delicious, fresh, god-like. I was starving and the two coneys and fries filled me right up! Will definitely order again (and again).

We ordered 2 orders of 3 Cheese Coneys *Chili and Cheese on Side* , 2 four ways, and a children's Kids' P'sghetti Special . They gave us 2 small bags of cheese to place on all the food. The coneys were cold, and the buns were cold. The whole meal was underwhelming. It was a waste if $60!

I'm from Cinci & have only lived in Lex for the last year of my 44 yrs. So my opinion might be a bit biased. This is stuff I've eaten & loved all my life. I'm happy to say it's still the same Skyline I've come to know & love even all the way down here. It's comforting to get a taste of home. If you aren't familiar with Cincinnati style chili I'll say this. Don't expect it to be (or compare it to) chili as you're accustomed to. It's "condiment chili" as I've dubbed it. You don't sit down to a hearty bowl of Cincinnati chili. It isn't hearty. It's delicious but it's meant to go on other things. Y'know like a condiment. Put it on a hotdog with cheese or some spaghetti with cheese. Maybe add some onion & hot sauce. Personally I don't care for it with mustard or beans. I will say I miss the days of chilitos being an off-menu item for the price of a cheese coney. I love them but I never order them anymore for their now higher on-the-menu price. All in all I was pleased. Give it a try.
