I paid for two medium fries and what did I receive! Two balls of mush, purely disgusting. The fries werent cooked all the way and they stupidly put it in a paper to go bag, then proceeded to put it in a plastic bag, which resulted in the bag falling apart due to steam! Not to mention, the fries they give you when you deliberately go into the store wasnt the same as the fries I got. The cheeseburger somehow was dry even though all of the condensation shouldve made it dripping wet! I will never be ordering from steak n shake again. Waste of my money, time, and enthusiasm. I got excited for food for nothing!

Burger patties were overcooked. They were crunchy and blackish brown. The other items were good.

now that they use beef tallow to fry with, the chicken and the fries are so good. such a huge difference in flavor. delicious

It breaks my heart to do this because steak n shake is one of my favorite places however guaranteed if you put in a DoorDash order and you order 2 cups of cheese sauce, they will look at the receipt see that it needs 2 cups of cheese sauce and NOT put them in your bag. Nothing worse than cheese fries without the cheese. I also normally like their burgers but tonight they are just dried out. The cheese is not even melted. They're all crisp around the edges like they were burned. I don't know what's going on, but they definitely dropped the ball tonight.

With each bite of my frisco was better and better! Very good the tallow tots were perfect
