The breakfast BLT was so flavorful and good. I've been looking for some good sausage gravy and crispy home fries and so glad I tried Summa Joe's. They nailed it.. so tasty, so crunchy, so good. I would have preferred a better fluffy biscuit, but I really enjoyed my meal overall.

I was disappointed with the Chicken Florentine Pasta . For that amount of money I was expecting to be able to share this dinner. I was expecting more than 2 pieces of chicken, it also would have been nice if they didn't have burnt spots on their coating.
The Chicken Florentine Pasta does taste very good. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the sauce is delicious. As with the chicken, I was expecting a bit more spinach and tomatoes in the dish.
I was also disappointed in the size of the Split Creek Greek Salad . For $11.00 I was expecting a larger salad, also wanting to share it. I had had a taco salad from a different restaurant this afternoon and was able to bring more than half of it home to share, at only $8.25, that being said, the components of the salad ARE delicious!
While the portion size was not what I was expecting, the food was good, overlooking the burnt areas on the coating of the chicken.

Fried Dough extremely hard, only five slices of Fried Green Tomatoes for $12 pricey) , the smothered Southern Fried Chicken Biscuit was decent though but they forgot my grits I ordered with it... first and probably last time trying them

best breakfast in Anderson. the best grits I have ever had and the Side Red Eye Gravy is exactly how my Mom made it. more food than you can eat. and even ordering on DoorDash it arrives hot !

The portion that was sent by the restaurant was not even kids or appetizer portion. Maybe 1/2 cup of cooked pasta for $18 the smallest chicken tenders ( 2 ). When called the restaurant they said they only make half portions for door dash orders but I have been getting it for about 2 years and yes, very inconsistent, but today was unacceptable. I have been going to Summa Joe's for 11 years and Ihave never been this disappointed not only with the service but also with the response. I dont get half portions from any other restaurant through door dash.
