I love Koya. the food is amazing and fresh and service is very good. they are very friendly and welcoming. I been here 4 times this year and will definitely be back again. Monster Roll is absolutely amazing enough for two people to enjoy.

On the positive side, the sashimi was fresh, and the portions were generous, which I really appreciated. The spider man roll was decent, though something is making it taste sour. As for dessert, the green tea cheesecake was fine — it wasn’t sweet, so they served it with a side of chocolate sauce. I personally preferred it without the chocolate as it acted as a nice palate cleanser - unfortunately, it was way too small for its price.

We go to this place all the time and today the pieces of fish would so big and the rice so thin that it was not enjoyable. We ended up not eating the rolls. Very unusual, considering our greatest experience all the time with this place.

They are by far my favorite restaurant. I couldn't recommend them more! I haven't been to a place that has better portion sizes, fresh ingredients, and amazing flavor. I always get the bay bridge roll and the unagi nigiri.

The Sashimi Sampler was delicious, but the sashimi slices are thick, taking away from how delicate sashimi should be. The Nagihama Maki tasted very fishy, with the rice being a little hard/old indicating the roll isn't fresh. The Salmon Kama (2pcs) is delicious & not overly grilled.
