When this first became available on DoorDash it was my go to place when I had a sweet tooth.
The last few times I have ordered, the quality has fallen off a cliff. The fruit toppings are consistently not fresh and look wilted (could solve with a glaze I imagine.
My wife's cakesicle was toddler sized so zero value there.
The cannoli ricotta filling is foul. Like they took it out of a container and didn't run it through a processor to smooth out. Was lumpy, wet and flavor free.

This is the second time getting the 'fill a box special. The first time it was fantastic. This time we had to throw away half the items. there was a tres leches looking mini cake and the leche was rancid. you could smell it before the fork even reached your mouth. Same with a cookie dough ball. It had a rush good flavor but was followed by a stale almost mold finish like a bad scotch. there was a really good miniature apple pie. also the chocolate strawberries were fresh and delicious. but this box was definitely a 50/50. half trash half decent. there were two rolled cakes. the chocolate one was good. the white one we are not able to tell what flavor it is supposed to be. bland and a little stale in texture and taste. I think i will steer clear of the mystery boxes from now on.

The cake was stale, with very little flavor, as was the icing. Even a Hostess cupcake 3 days old would be better. Terrible. Go to Publix or pretty much anywhere else. I'd give it a one.

I have ordered the box special several times. There is usually a nice variety of treats. Some items are hit or miss on freshness. We got a very liquidy slice of cake that looks like it had fresh strawberries that went bad- we had to toss it, but everything else was good.
