The rating on this restaurant is deceiving. Second time ordering from Tacoyote. Both experiences have exceeded expectations based off of DD ratings. They have become our favorite Mexican spot in two orders. Chipotle Chicken Enchiladas were absolutely the best Enchiladas... cook, sauce, flavor. Followed up with the Poblano Enchiladas which were phenomenal and this is coming from a "meat only" preference for entrees. The Barracho Shrimp Tacos were also fantastic. They package everything very well for travel and exceed typical Door Dash expectations. A current 4.3* rating is ridiculous because this is by far one of the best Mexican takeout places in the area on DD. I've had many more dishes than referenced but they have all been terrific. Highly recommend and encourage you to disregard the 4.3 and expect a 4.9.

Al Pastor Taco were my favorite out of everything I ordered. The Octopus Tacos (Special Edition) were a little salty but tender, the Grilled Chicken Taco was cut too thick, the Churros were stale, not the greatest, the Traditional Guacamole & Chips, the chips were too hard.

Ordered steak tacos. The steak was decent quality and cooked surprisingly to a decent temp for tacos (medium). But was very bland. I added salsa, hot sauce, everything I had available and it just lacked seasoning and flavor.

Empanadas (x2) were dripping in grease. Tacos were bland and the street corn although charred tasted like cardboard. Not worth the price and would not recommend!
