Takara Ramen has become my go-to "I'm gonna treat myself because I deserve it" restaurant! I love the thick miso broth and the thinly sliced pork.(Albeit, I wouldn't mind a bit if there was a little more bok-choy ) Chicken Miso Ramen and Tonkotsu Classic Ramen are my absolute favorites! I highly recommend you treat yourself to some ramen today... after all, you deserve it!

The Tonkotsu Miso Ramen is one of the best I've ever eaten. The broth is delicious and I love that they let you customize the order with additional toppings. The yakitori and Chashu Bun (1 Pc) were also amazing. Highly recommend this place.

I was curious as to how this Tonkotsu Miso Ramen outranked all their other items in most liked. I fully understand now. Amazing size with a large depth of flavor and still warm and delicious after delivery. 10/10

The Tonkotsu Miso Ramen and Chashu Bun were excellent, offering rich and balanced flavors that were thoughtfully packaged for pickup. The staff provided courteous and efficient service despite the busy atmosphere when I arrived. The Takoyaki, however, was disappointing. The flavor was lacking, and the portion of octopus was minimal compared to frozen varieties available at Lotte Market. The Karaage appetizer also fell short of expectations, as the serving size was small and the coating lacked the crisp texture typically achieved with potato starch in traditional preparation. Overall, the meal was enjoyable and the service commendable, but the quality of some appetizers did not match the high standard set by the ramen and bun.

Hands down the best ramen in Richmond, and the closest thing we have to the real deal. It's been a staple for my treat yourself takeout nights - but as with most places these days, the portions have become increasingly small while the prices continue to rise.
Reviewing after years because this last batch was particularly small and sad - and the noodles were more like spaghetti than real ramen noodles. Take it with a grain of salt but I continue to expect more from takeout and ended up disappointed.
