I never write reviews... but this place deserves another to add to their list.
The owner here cares, and it shows. It's a laid back place where the staff are hustling and attentive. Chicken Tinga tacos won on this trip, but there are several others I must try (lookin at you, Birria.) The food is authentic, simple, and simply delicious. Sit at the bar and ask Alejandra for her spicy margarita- it has just enough heat so you can still taste the tacos. Fresh lime juice for the win. Or try one of their many, many tequilas. ¡GOAL!

The TIJUANA Carne Asada was somehow extra greasy and tough, plus how are you gonna give customers one little slice of lime for 3 tacos at $20, and no green salsa?? Also, the Elote Asado had a sour taste, not sure if they put chamoy on it, but it's not for me.

I didn't know they were hand made tortillas until I ate them. I didn't know what I was missing. Shrimp also way better than any Mexican place in the area. Quality.
Great flavor as well. Best tacos I've had in the nyc. Been trying to find a good one in upper west.

$22 for a burrito this size is not great. Food was good but price to size is on the low end. Definitely go elsewhere.

The photo of "sangria" looks like an alcoholic beverage! It is not stated anywhere that this was flavored soda and nonalcoholic.
The taco meat claiming to be Birria / brisket had a texture of what I would imagine wet dogfood to taste like. And the cheese was like hard rubber.
Very disappointed since 3 gross tacos and 4 sodas cost me $52
