Taqueria Vallarta is the best Mexican restaurant in all of Santa Cruz. I grew up eating at their many locations and have always had tasty, flavorful meals. The portions are always right, and you can't beat their prices. I love their burritos, tacos, tortas, quesabirrias, and their agua de horchata. Breakfast Burrito

I paid an extra $1.25 for carne asada which totaled to $14+ and also got a breakfast burrito which is cheaper, yet the breakfast burrito was MUCH bigger than the asada burrito which was very disappointing and inconsistent especially for the money paid. Otherwise flavor is good but mostly tortilla which... I wish there were more fillings, obviously... since I paid extra for it...

place is very inconsistent with it whether or not they get it right, I have an avocado allergy, and there has been a lot of times where they did not follow avocado on the side request

Not a lot of flavor but good amount of food for the price. The cheese was melted on the bottom of my nacho take out container, not even on them.
