Food is always delicious. I order from here at least 2x a month. Had trouble with a DoorDash swiper and the restaurant called and assured me that I was still going to receive my food. Super sweet of them and the food tasted even better.

Quality of the food took a major dive today. Fish smelled bad. KungPao (宮保) was very sweet (didn't taste like Sichuan). String beans taste alright but not crispy like before. This place is usually consistently good. Not sure what changed. Maybe the chef.

I usually like the food from here but today it was so bland. I wonder if it was just an off day, but I ordered the Dumpling in Chili Oil (Chicken)紅油雞餃(8) extra spicy, but they came almost sweet? and the Dan Dan Noodles（w.minced pork) (旦旦面) were also not spicy, just really oily. I was surprised because I've eaten here (picked up) before and it's usually good. I wouldn't recommend as of now.

I wish more people knew about Cheng Du. It's a wonderful restaurant with authentic cuisine. I've never had a bad meal from them. They're my favorite Chinese food on Long Island!
