In my opinion, Taverna is the BEST Greek/Mediterranean restaurant in North County San Diego. The food is delicious. The gyros are YUGE! With discounts, the Dinner For Two is an absolute banger of a deal.

Really delicious! Surpassed my expectations. The salmon was juicy and cooked perfectly. The rice was well seasoned and the salad was generously sprinkled with feta and was crisp and fresh. It lasted me for two meals, very budget friendly.

Taverna always delivers fresh, quality food. The Tzatziki is excellent, the roasted garlic is phenomenal, the meat is all high quality and tastes delicious. Our standards are high and Taverna always meets them!

WOW! Absolutely the best meal we've had in quite sometime time. The vegetables were fresh, the kabob's were cooked perfectly, the pita bread is soft and super good and tasty. We had a small dinner party and my guests were so impressed with this Mediterranean dinner - thank you. My compliments to the chef. What a great establishment! BEST IN SAN DIEGO by far. Louie & Laura

After reading the reviews I was excited to order the Combination Plate . Roasted vegetables- there was 1 small piece of bell pepper 4 onion slices and 3 garlic cloves. Chicken was really tast but too salty imo but I had way more gyro meat than chicken and it was grainy. The CHEESECAKE BAKLAVA was incredible! Other than that I'm pretty disapointed
