Temple Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in Citrus Heights. Their food is always freshly done for every dish on the menu. Instead of Walnut Shrimp that is 90% batter theirs is so lightly done the whole large shrimp is seen through it. They use fresh vegetables like whole mushrooms and zucchini and always cooked to perfection. This is definitely a five Chinese Restaurant.

Dont sleep on the Peking Style Spare Rib! Tender & succulent with a tangy glaze absolutely slaps! Generous portions of shrimp in the Temple House Fried Rice Five stars every time.

Like some of the other reviews mentioned about the Cream Cheese Wonton, it tasted like it was cooked in VERY used oil.... we're talking corn dogs at the fair kind of oil. I could smell it before opening the container. Chicken chow mein was fine. Not great, not bad. The portion was big. Probably wouldn't order again.

Temple Garden is my favorite go-to for Chinese. The war wonton soup tastes so fresh, healthy and delicious with yummy broth, meat, shrimp, veggies and pork-filled wontons. So good! Also love the broccoli beef, chicken chow mein, mu shu pork or chicken, fried shrimp and potstickers.

The hot & sour soup from Temple Garden is amazing! Our Dasher delivered it so quickly that it was steaming hot upon arrival. It was filled with loads of ingredients that define this soup.We also had shrimp with asparagus & lemon chicken. These too were tasty dishes. Temple Garden is fast becoming our favorite Chinese restaurant. We are so happy that it is in our neighborhood.
