what the Thai Boat does above all else is deliver on FLAVOR. The Tom Kha 32oz is, IMHO, the bees knees. The coconut chicken soup (tom kha) just blasts lemon grass, galangal and kaffir leaves, like the time you met your first love. Just awesome. The Garlic Noodle dish is the paradigm to which I hold all Thai food too. The Thai Boat has nailed it since they were in a boat slinging food in Morro Bay. Very Good! Beautiful flavors. However the spring Fresh Roll Shrimp are just a head of lettuce, teeny tiny amout of noodles or other Veg. Not worth $10.00. And the Tom Kha 32oz is just loads of cabbage, almost no other veg, but wonderful Broth. Pumpkin CurryYellow Curry are great 👍

The Crispy chicken Masamun was terrible! LOADED with cinnamon, even in the chicken breading. Chicken "fingers" were tough. Only had 2-3 bites. Overpriced.

Pineapplerice was visually solid but tasted flat—sweet notes without savory depth. Added chicken and paid $4 extra for four shrimp, which felt symbolic rather than satisfying. Yellow Curry lacked broth entirely; adding white rice turned it into a dry paste, not a cohesive dish. Portion optics and flavor delivery didn’t match the premium pricing. Clean packaging, but backend trust took a hit.

Yellow Curry was perfection as usual. I add green cabbage and green onions and it's so good. Vegetable Soup 32oz This is fabulous with potatoes and extra garlic. This place is phenomenal every single time. You can't go wrong.
