Shallot is the best Thai restaurant in the area. The food is phenomenal - I've never had a bad meal from there - and the staff are friendly and professional. Now that they're back, I hope that Thai Shallot remains a fixture in our community for many years to come.
Though I've tried many of their dishes over the years, I always come back to the Pad Thai Country Style (doesn't matter what protein you get; my favorites are tofu and shrimp). The Seafood Madness is phenomenal, Crazy Noodles are quite good, and the Thai Custard with Sticky Rice is hands down the best dessert I've had at any restaurant anywhere EVER. I was in withdrawal from that dessert for the time that Shallot had closed and had even tried to make it myself (that did not work out very well).
If you're looking for an amazing Thai dinner at a decent price (and excellent value for the price), Thai Shallot should definitely be on your radar!

Absolutely loved my experience here! The mango sticky rice is honestly the best dessert I’ve ever had in this restaurant . The mango was perfectly sweet and fresh, and the sticky rice was soft, rich, and full of flavor. I was craving it today, and it completely satisfied every bite was amazing. You can really tell they use high quality ingredients and put care into their food. I’ll definitely be coming back for this again. Highly recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth!

The chicken and broccoli was flavorless and inedible. The honey lime chicken was pretty good but a very small portion for $20. Not nearly as impressed as others with this Thai restaurant.

there was only one very small slice of chicken in the Chicken Coconut Soup 🌶️. All broth and just a spoonful or two of mushroom and onion

Country pad Thai was good with a nice, mild heat to it. I asked for no bean sprouts and they prepared it correctly, so thats awesome.
Mango sticky rice was a container of tropical deliciousness. I've never tried it before, so not sure how it compares to other restaurants, but it is definitely something I will order again. Highly recommend.
Potstickers were ok, but they gave me the wrong sauce. It was a duck sauce with a little spiciness and, though it was good, it didn't go well with the potstickers. I ended up having to make some potsticker sauce myself.
Thai iced tea was ok, but tasted a bit watered down. I think if iorder it again I should ask for no ice and just pour it over ice when it gets here. It's also not as sweet as I've had at other places.
