I eat Thai food a lot and the food here was incredibly average. The penang curry had reasonable flavour but was watery and the contents rather sad. The pad see ewe was pretty bland and the meat rubbery. It's worth it to spend a bit more money for better quality Thai food from the city - Somtum or Yor Yak - and Khao Thai in Karori is fantastic. Thai Tara Express needs to step up their game!

We ordered a Pad See Ewe, Thai Green Curry and spring rolls - as always, the food tasted delicious, plenty of meat and vegetables.

so yum! full of flavor accepted special requests to not add things, too. sauce was good and the wonton soup was so good! Will definitely order again.

I have tasted authentic Thai curries before. The penang curry was flavorless and the Red Thai curry smelled and tasted like something was terribly off. Traveled into Jville to swap it over for a Green curry, and it had exactly the same taste as the red curry. I've eaten in this restaurant before and never had any issues until tonight. I won't be going back again
