INCREDIBLY kind and helpful staff. If everyone in San Diego is this great, I'm moving here. Food was fantastic as always - some of the best fries of any restaurant.

Firebird was exceptional. Actually, it was more than exceptional….in fact, I’m forced to make up a new word to describe the sandwich….SCRUMTRULESCENT. It was the most scrumtrulescent sandwich that I’ve ever had.

Review: The Crack Shack**

I finally gave The Crack Shack a go, and while there were some high points, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for a repeat visit.
The **chicken tenders** themselves were actually quite good in terms of quality and cook. They were juicy and had a solid crunch, but they definitely lacked a punch in the flavor department. A bit more seasoning in the breading would go a long way in making them stand out.
The biggest letdown, however, was the sauce situation. For an order of 12 tenders, I was pretty disappointed with the portions. The menu says they come with ranch, but none was included in the box. I ended up adding on BBQ sauce, but I only received two tiny cups—nowhere near enough for a dozen pieces of chicken.
It’s a decent spot to try once if you're in the mood for fried chicken, but between the light seasoning and the stingy sauce portions, I don’t feel a strong urge to put this back on my "must-order" list.

Side SoCal Cobb was sooo good! The apples add a nice sweetness to it and the pickled onions, egg, avocado, just everything! Delicious. Great price for side salad and good portion

One side piece of the tiniest piece of chicken on earth for $8 is the biggest scam. Also didn't give me sauces.
