I visit Deerfield Beach for work a couple times a year and everytime I'm here I order a lobster roll from The Fish Joint. The flavor is so good and it's heaped with generous amounts of claw meat. This time I added the lobster bisque to try out which is now another favorite I'll have to make sure to add on next time I visit.

It's official. I've tried every local seafood restaurant. This is my spot. The best New England clam chowder, house made, anywhere. And I've tried them all now. When I want soup, this is my go to. When Iwant nice portions of fresh seafood that doesn't cost me my soul, this is my go to. None of the others come close and I'm a seafood snob.

I've gotten the seared ahi tuna salad before but this time it was no good. It was extremely small had 2 pieces of red pepper, a browning piece of avocado, and the thinnest slices of tuna. Not worth the price.

These guys know how to prepare seafood properly. Fish and chips, tastes just like a WI fish fry (fantastic) and generous portion of sides. For once I didn't run out of tartar sauce...will be back soon!

The conch fritter was full of conch and was extremely tasty. The shrimp a grits was a perfect meal and and was very flavorful. I'm disappointed with the fish and chips the fish had no flavor. The hush puppies were undercooked. Very disappointing.
