• 25-01-05 2 Meat Combo and Mango Passion Juice are amazing. Seasoned properly, served piping hot. We had the brown stew chicken and curry chicken with cabbage, everything excellent. We also had the fried chicken and fish with rice and peas, again everything excellent. 10/10.

• 26-06-29Oxtails were ok, missing that Jamaican flavor, the gravy was more like a regular brown gravy. But I got some big pieces which was a plus. Patty was good, but also missing a lil something. The bread pudding was DELICIOUS. Not bad at all, just hard when you've experienced the real thing and $50 later still craving oxtails.

• 25-01-04Oh my goodness! The Joyce's Oxtails were so savory with a hint of sweet on the initial taste. They give you a good number of oxtails in various sizes that are fork tender and rich in color. Cabbage and spinach sides had robust flavor that ate well the next day too. The Fried Plantains (B) were so sweet, moist, and carmelized to perfection- it's a must order everytime! The Island Spot IS one of the top places to get some great carribean food!

• 22-12-10The curry goat was 90% bone and 10% meat. $20.85 for a very meager serving of spinach, rice and bone. Did not receive my drink with my order either. Island Spot is getting worse and worse. Won't order from there again.

• 23-02-17OMG!!! My food was delicious! I ordered the lunch brown stew chicken with white rice & cabbage. My plate looked like perfection and tasted like a delicious 5 star gourmet meal! So flavorful and tender was the chicken. The cabbage was very well seasoned with colored bell peppers. The rice was perfect! Everything I needed this plate to be -IT WAS!!!
