• 24-12-25The Roasted Root Vegetable Wellington was great. I particularly enjoyed the variety, quality and quantity of fresh veggies on the plate. And they were very nicely cooked. I was confused by the "sub" prefix on the "sub gluten-fee pasta", and I didn't know how it was supposed to fit into the picture. So I ordered it anyway. That resulted in a phone call looking for confirmation as to what I had intended. I think he was wondering if the pasta side order was supposed to substitute for the garlic mashed potatoes. In my view, a side order is an addition to the order, not a replacement of one of its components. And that was what I had intended.

• 25-05-24Locus has had a Summer Spinach Gnocchi on its menu for years, and I would usually order it unless something else took my fancy. But Lotus' chef has switched it up -- the Spinach Gnocci is suddenly something else entirely. It's a brilliant change-up. Lots of fresh veggies to go with the gnocchi, and the dried apricot chunks were wonderful accents in that mix. Then there was the sauce - rich and delicious.

• 24-06-06The Scallops & Spinach Salad (Gluten free) -- interesting, tasty, and healthy enough to justify bragging to your mother about how good it is for you. Spinach, bacon, sugared nuts, scallops, pear slices, all with a delightful dressing. And Jagvir got the order to me in very good time. 5 stars all around.
