Mel's is a great restaurant. I think they have the best biscuits and gravy in Sacramento. And those Garlic Mels Fries were perfect; nice crunch and good flavor. Of course I will order again in the future, I have to pace myself.

the Juice (22 oz) might not look like much, but it's fresh squeezed and delish. the Breakfast Burrito is always filling, and with the potato's, it's two meals for me! always fresh and arrives well-packaged.

The burger is fire. They use actual avocado which is great. The bread is real thick and toasted almost like Texas toast. The bacon is not as crisp as it could be but it didn't take anything away from the sandwich. Good portion and a good price. Mel's always does me well.

The meal was good but I would never order a side of avocado again. Almost $4 for only 3 slices that were unripe & brown.

The mushroom Swiss burger was absolutely perfect. Well cooked but juicy and flavorful, loads of mushrooms and onion straws. The garlic fries were loaded with plenty of Parmesan and garlic. This store is SO much better than the Howe Avenue store!
