• 23-10-18Gandule rice had good flavor, good texture & was a good portion. Pastele had good flavor, it's a nice size & good texture, however, I asked for ready to eat and it came frozen.  The banana lumpia had excellent flavor & was the size I like.

• 24-11-21Chorizo was the size of a li'l smokey sausage, couldn't even be bothered with completely lining the bottom of the plate with Spanish rice that they charge extra for, and my over easy egg looked like a scrambled mess . This place will fold at this rate. Better off going to Lavern's Truck at Waikele for a Pastele Stew plate and huge side of squid lu'au for around da same price.

• 23-02-12the plate no. 6 was perfectly portioned. The pasteles was da vest part. all the perfect seasonings for dat true cultured taste. gandule rice was ono as well. oh and da lumping had me wanting more! the pastele beef stew bowl was so so. found the stew to be a little too salty to my taste. but all in all food was fairly portioned for prices and will definitely order from them in the future!

• 26-07-05I wasn't impressed with the food. I am Puerto Rican so I guess I was expecting better tasting pasteles and arroz con gandules but it was ok just not what I was expecting. The portion of the 4oz macaroni was surprising but I did like it better than the rest of the food.

• 25-04-27The Pastele Loco Moco is hearty and filling defi worth every dollar. I suggest get it with Spanish rice.

Pastele Stew
Also called Matuda. The Pastele stew is the inside of the Pastele (pork) before we drain all the oils & juicy stew part out to make Pastele's. Best served over rice!
