• 26-06-19Forever going to be my favorite joint while I'm in Charlotte, and I'm a New Yorker so I'm critical when it comes to food. Thank you so much for the best taste of southern hospitality. Always fresh, the meat is straight tendernism, can't get enough of the collard greens or the potato salad! Ima be 50 lbs heavier by the time I go back to NY but idc idc lol

• 24-06-26We got the Half Rack Ribs Plate and the Smoked Chicken Quarters Plate...SO much food and they were both fantastic! Cooked perfectly, the sides were mac and cheese (yum), baked potatoes, corn bread. Everything was awesome!!

• 26-06-17Ribs could've been bigger than what they usually have these ones that I received were thin. They usually have them thicker. It's still a lot of food to have for lunch and dinner. As usual their food is delicious and fresh. The food was still warmed and I didn't need to heat it up. This is my to go order and absolutely my favorite, the 4 bone plate with collard greens, Mac n cheese and cornbread. I absolutely love Smoke Pits food!

• 25-01-17This plate was put of this world delicious perfect servings of fatty and lean brisket. enough for 2 days and the Mac and cheese was even better when reheated the next day. 10 out of 10

• 25-06-07Let me start by saying we just moved to this area (my husband is from here, but I am not). My brother-in-law caters and does bbq as a side business with his wife and I was longing for some of his good bbq, but he’s 3 hours away. This place is to die for and tastes just like his, which is the biggest compliment I can give. The bbq is tender, just enough of a smoke flavor and pairs really well with the coleslaw. The macaroni and cheese is unreal and so is the fried okra. I also got a piece of the cornbread and a 1/2 gallon of sweet tea. All of it has exceeded my expectations and I believe I have a new favorite spot!!
