Best tacos in Portland and it's not even close. Blue corn tortillas are always perfect, meat options and portion are plenty, and the price is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

I'm not from Oaxaca, nor the surrounding area, so I cannot & will not make claims of "authenticity", but I can tell you this: the yellow mole alone will change your whole life. I used to think the Thai dish Khao Soi was the best soup on Earth by a mile, but then I tried the Mole Amarillo from Tierra del Sol, & now Khao Soi has some real competition. Bone-in chicken in a delicate & complex broth with masa dumplings, green beans, & chayote?! Are you kidding me?! It is beyond good. Five stars ain't enough.

The guac tasted like it sorely was missing avocado. It was possibly an instant mix or at least tasted like it was. The pollo Tacos tortillas were good, but the filling was overly salted and didn't have much flavor otherwise. Cilantro would go a long ways making these more palatable.

Barely any sour cream an 1 tiny slice of avocado for the meat quesadilla. Cheese quesadilla didnt have any toppings. Not worth the money IMO
