So excited to see Tipsy Mermaid on DoorDash! The Hemingway House salad was so fresh and delicious. The Conch & Shrimp Fritters were crunchy and flavorful, and I absolutely loved the accompanying sauces. I'm a huge fan of Noah Grant's, so I knew this place would be exceptional!

I grew up in FL, and my family was in the seafood industry. I travel back to South FL often and New Orleans. I know seafood and I am so happy to say this place is delicious! I read other reviews with concerns about the food, so I ordered several things to go for this reason. If it's good to go, without alcohol and ambiance of the restaurant, you know it's good fresh in the restaurant. First off, I'm not a rice and beans lover and also stay away from pork as much as possible. I'm picky. That rice and beans was so good and the seafood grits with bacon was THE BEST Seafood & Grits I've ever had. the Island Life Tacos were also so good and came with so many accoutrements. The Conch & Shrimp Fritters are so good and completely delicious! This place understood the assignment. They know what they are doing and if I had to provide any critical feedback at all, it would be to lower the salt content in the Conch & Shrimp Fritters and shrimp in the Island Life Tacos. It may be the beer breading that is coming off a little too salty. Run to this place immediately and the Conch & Shrimp FrittersSeafood & Grits, and Island Life Tacos are must have items. I cannot wait to go in person and try their drinks.

Normally a great food experience (the ceviche is awesome at past visits) but the mushroom & truffle ragu pappardelle was a disappointment. I ordered mahi mahi with it. First off, the pasta was not pappardelle it was linguine. The mahi mahi was not grilled or blackened I think it may have been baked? Both the mahi mahi and the pasta had very little seasoning other than the lemon I squeezed on it. There was shaved Parmesan on top of the fish and on the linguine. Won't be sad not having this again. The key lime pie was good with the homemade whipped cream.

The Gnocchi French Onion Soup was sooo good. I do think they're pricey compared to other local restaurants with similar menu, vibes.

I have gone to Key West and ate Conch Chowder at many different places. This is EASILY the best recipe I have had.
