Every time I order from Toulouse (not "Toulouse's"...), the food is fabulous. The trout amandine is amazing, the soupe à l'oignon is delicious, boeuf bourguignon rich and tender, every salad is fantastic. Desserts are always perfect (try the lavender crème brûlée!)

The Lavender Crème Brulee was a joke. $11 for the smallest thing I've ever seen. Less than an inch of custard, yall. So bad.

Steak Frites is the best in its class. Cooked perfectly it was very tender and tasty. This is the 10th time I've ordered it. I've never been disappointed.

Duck was majorly overcooked and tasted like charcoal. There was very little meat on the bone and when biting into the skin, the bone itself started to disintegrate. The salad tasted okay but was super underwhelming for the cost and the chicken had fatty hard to chew pieces. Onion soup was good but was delivered nearly cold and I have had much much better. Creme brulee was super small in size and was comparable to 4 smaller bites. Have been wanting to try this place for years as there has always been a pretty good crowd, but this was majorly disappointing. We were only issued a $40 refund too. :-(

Chopped Salade was mushy as were the hearts of palm. Felt like it was 3-4 days old. Lettuce was wilted and soggy. Tiny cup of dressing was not enough. Bread was delicious.
