• 24-07-02Absolutely delicious. This food is all well seasoned & flavorful, and quite honestly tastes homemade.
The Smothered Chicken* is a large quantity. 3 med-large pieces of chicken. Very crispy, has the very subtle sweetness to the batter that goes really well with the gravy, which is perfection! Could probably feed 2 thanks to the two sides.
For sides,I ordered the Chicken Tortilla Soup & the Potatoes.
The soup was incredible! I forgot to take a pic of the tortilla, lime, cheese, and cilantro topping, but it does come with that. I didn't expect this to be so amazing. So much flavor, nice tender pieces of chicken, and very hearty.
The potatoes were a bit too salty for me, but very cripsy and well flavored.
The Caesar Side Salad was just right, dressed perfectly and the homemade croutons were pillowy & crunchy all at the same time.
Heavenly Banana Pudding 16oz (serves 2) was wonderful! Loved the texture and balance of flavors. Definitely recommend.
My favorite Door Dash experience to date.
I did not recieve cutlery- but I dont think I asked . Wish this was just standard. Just make sure you ask it you do need it!

• 25-09-12Ahhh Tupelo. You won my heart when I lived in Asheville, North Carolina. Some of the best food I've ever eaten, and the best presentation. Sadly, not so great this time around. This is a mixed plus - minus review.
I ordered DoorDash because I'm stuck in a hotel here in Nebraska. The order was delivered- No silverware. Nothing to eat with. That's just an obvious thing when somebody gets a to-go order, especially through DoorDash. No napkins. Nothing. Maybe that's supposed to be the DoorDash person's job, I have no idea, but throwing a fork in there would have been great. (The bag was completely stapled so my delivery guy couldn't have put anything in there anyways. I like that my food was staple chest, so nobody messes around with it, but then stick a fork in there for me.)
But onto the next thing. The smothered chicken I have to say was really good! Greasy, but good (greasy as in the whole container bottom was soaked with it). But why are you gonna worry about grease when you're eating the chicken smothered in white pepper gravy? You're already killing yourself , so what's a little grease. I also got the salt and pepper brussels sprouts- they were amazing and the collard greens were good too. I'm all about my veggies.
I treated myself to brown butter pecan pie. This is where it gets dicey. I paid seven dollars for this piece of pie. I'm going to include a picture because I think it's important to see what I got for seven dollars. Now some of you may say I'm fine with spending seven dollars for that piece of pie, great. But for those of you who aren't I want you to see so that you don't make a mistake.

• 26-05-22The Honey pecan chicken salad and the farmstand strawberry lemonade were absolutely delicious!!! The sandwich is big enough for me that I had half for dinner and I'll have the other half for lunch tomorrow at work. Will definitely order again!!

• 25-05-03Ordered tbe Family Entrée Meal for 2, spicy chicken as the main and brussels and okra for the sides. All delicious although, the brussels were a tad salty but that could do well for someone who hatea the taste of brussel. Definitely a filling meal for 2.
