The food was just ok. I got the sweet potato waffle, which I think was probably the best part of the order - it was good with the carmelized pecans and marshmallow drizzle. You could definitely taste the sweet potato. The over--medium eggs were over-hard. The bacon is very thick cut, if you like that sort of thing. We usually prefer thinner, since it can be a bit more crispy. My sister got the waffle breakfast sandwich which was supposed to come with cheese - it didn't. It also had nothing else on it - no seasoning, mayo, etc. and there was no way to order a side of mayo or other condiments for it. Since we are here on vacation, our AirBnB doesnt have those things. She settled for syrup, which was ok, but the lack of cheese was a disappointment. My Dad got the biscuits and gravy, which he said was good, but it was smaller than expected. Overall, would recommend getting the waffles.

The turtle chicken & waffle was, hands down, the best chicken& waffle combo i've ever had. the chicken was cooked just right. the consistency the grits were just how i like not too thick and not too runny. will definitely eat here again on my next trip to NOLA.

1. Chicken & Waffle, the chicken was somehow slightly undercooked and dry the waffles were dollar store box mix and the entire thing was seasoned with just season salt ...nothing about this was southern or new orleans or good
2. Grits Topped w/ American Cheese this was the wateriest bowl of grits ive ever had and im pretty sure the american cheese was some weird canned cheese sauce.

Everything taste well seasoned! However, the amount of food given is not worth the price. Also more syrup should be included in order and apple juice cup was not filled to the top.
