This restaurant is a local favorite and I would recommend trying to form your own opinion and support a family owned business. However, I did think it was a bit too expensive for what it is. The Chicken Kebob Skewer was a lot smaller than I hoped it would be (honestly I don't think it's actually 8 oz as advertised), and the Squash Bichaki I ordered did not even include the yogurt sauce featured in the photos. I know prices are rising for everyone, but I just do not think the value for $$ is there with this place.

I have been ordering from Uma's for years, but recently the prices don't justify the product. I used to love the Lagman, a good way to get some protein in a hearty soup that was 1 part noodles, 1 part vegetables and 1 part beef, great balance. In my most recent order of Lagman there was exactly one small piece of beef less than 1" by 1" and one small, greyish piece of fat. That's it. I looked around through the noodles and veggies for more beef, there was none. Very bummed especially when they have priced the soup at like $19! Insane rip off. Scallion Pancakes are still great but also pretty over priced.
