The frosting was fresh however everyone that ate the cake felt the cake was dry and not moist as if it was an old cake. It was disappointing.

These cakes are my mom's favorite and it's tradition we get one for every celebration. They normally are always moist but today this cake is dry/stale. Pretty disappointed since it's for Mother's Day.

The cake was bad (old). The cake tasted like the custard was spoiled (rancid). At this point I am highly unlikely to order from this Valencia again.

This cake was not good at all. The cake they sold me was old. The texture was off. It tasted like cardboard, like someone put icing on some nasty cornbread. We were not pleased.
