Van. Tea Cafe cooks good. The 2. Spicy Malay Curry Beef Brisket with Rice/ 香辣馬來咖喱牛腩跟白飯 was the tastiest dish that I've had in quite some time, and the beef chunks were large, plentiful, and very tender. I'll be back for more of that one.

The 9. Fried Rice with Diced Beef Tenderloin and Garlic / 金蒜牛柳粒炒飯 Is a tasty dish. The beef was tender and almost melted in my mouth. The veggies were primarily corn, but it would have been nice to see some more of the other veggies. Carrot and peas would be good. And the portion size was generous.

The 15. Fried Rice Noodle with Sliced Beef and Soy Sauce / 干炒牛肉河粉 was nicely done, generously-sized, and tasty. There was sufficient beef, and it was tender. The onions and bean shoots balanced the beef and the rice noodles very well. And Van. Tea Cafe got it out the door and on its way in very good time.

To start, I'm Cantonese and therefore very familiar to the flavours and quality of Chinese dishes.
I have tried many many Chinese restaurants on the DoorDash platform and Van Tea is the absolute best. Good quality beef is essential and I prefer to pay a little more to get the quality.
I stopped ordering beef dishes from other Chinese restaurants because the quality of the beef is terrible.

I did not order a mini dish. Paid $25.50 for a dish but only got a tiny piece of pork chop on top of the rice. I ordered similar dishes before but always got two pieces of pretty decent size of meat. Hope it was only an oversight. Very disappointed this time.
