Authentic Mexican Cuisine specializing in Jalisco Style Birria
Wapo Taco was a pleasant surprise just trying something new. I normally shy away from Mexican food as it is typically so heavy. Wapo Taco was fresh and lite. I would say more of a California style versus typical Texas-Mex.
The carnitas mini tacos were phenomenal. They were seasoned well slightly moist. Their homemade salsa brought them fully to life.
The birria mini tacos were good, but the roast beef was a little dry for my liking. The consomme' adds the moisture back to the beef, but I wish the birria was a bit thicker.
Wapo Taco is a definite addition to my dining rotation. I highly recommend it for yours as well.

My first order from Wapo Taco. The Wapo C-Food Taco was a shrimp taco and it was great! It needed no salsa or any additional seasoning as it was seasoned well. The carnitas mini-taco were phenomenal, but needs the salsa to moisten the meat.
The birria mini tacos were good, but not great. The beef was dry and the consomme' was thin. The flavor was good but a thicker birria would have made it perfect.
All in all I will be back. I definitely recommend Wapo Taco for your dining rotation. The food is fresh and light which is great for a more health conscious culture.

Birriadilla (Birria Quesadilla) and Mini Tacos Al pastor. even though we didn't eat the food right away and had to heat it up, it was amazing. the meat to cheese ratio for the Birriadilla (Birria Quesadilla) was absolutely perfect and the consomme was rich and savory. The Al Pastor was stacked with tender meat, absolutely no skimping. Will 100% be ordering from here again.

The Taco Salad was delicious, as usual. Same with Chips & Guacamole. The shimp Wapo C-Food Taco, though only had two fairly small shrimp and so little filling, which was quite disappointing.

Birriadilla (Birria Quesadilla)Ceviche Fresco excellent and I got 8 meals out of the buy one get one free Quesadilla Birriadilla (Birria Quesadilla) even with sharing with my dog! Filling and substantial dinner. Ceviche only lasted a few hours, so delicious!
