I ordered #11, the #11 Grilled Chicken Sandwich Whatameal®, which is always a good sandwich. Instead of onion rings, I got French fries--big mistake as they weren't edible. The potatoes had no body, they were limp, not the least bit crispy. Since I don't eat many of them, I let it slide. The Hot Apple Pie was good & so was the Coke.

Whataburger has problems with French fries. My biggest ick I'd the aftertaste, which is caused by dirty cooking oil; it's not changed often. Secondly, the fries aren't brown but are limp & colorless. Sometimes, they're just garbage waiting to be thrown out.

Both Burgers were spot on only upsetting part was the fries they were cold and old and half gone

I've been a lifelong Whataburger patron, but this store got on my last nerve after picking up a #1 Whatameal. I did get my sandwich on Texas toast, per my request, with a dollop of mustard in the middle. Since I didn't request any vegetables, I'd expected the mustard to have been spread around, just a little.
This Whataburger has had issues with French fries for years, which explains why I usually skip them. No one wants pale, limp fries, especially since there's a timer. These pathetic things were inexcusably unappetizing.
Why can't Whataburger serve a good Dr. Pepper? These wannabes have been so bad that usually, I opt for a Coke. At the prices Whataburger charges nowadays, it will be a long time before I'm back & I'll eat inside so that I can complain while there.

The food was fine but the bags, the napkins, utensils even the cups all smelled of smoke. Like someone was in the kitchen smoking a whole pack of cigarettes with the doors closed and it permeated everything! Had to switch out the drinks to a different cup and throw away all the bags and packaging right away because it was so bad! At first we thought it could've been from the driver but when we opened the sealed bags it was like the smell intensified so it was definitely from the store itself
