One of my absolute favorite meals in all of Charleston. Delicious and comforting. I love the okinomiyaki with pork candy, it is so so good! Yum!!!

I spent the weekend in Charleston and ordered from many restaurants, sadly this was the only place I was extremely disappointed by. I would not recommend the FANCY BOY RICE (ny strip steak). The rice itself was very bland. So many pieces of the steak were chewy, it was like I was just eating pieces of fat. On top of that, there was barely any steak even in it. For $25 I don't expect a few measly pieces of steak and if you are going to give a small portion, at least make sure the food is of better quality.
We visit Charleston all the time and I'm not sure this will be a place we visit again.

chicken katsu curry came with no rice. Mini Hand Pies were fried dumplings and only 3 of them and yes they're mini - in addition they are dessert and not savory. Bao with cucumber is delightful. Pork + Kimchi Jiao Zi is wonderfully different taste profile then usual and can't recommend enough.

The dish jtself was tasty.. a little heavy handed with the sauce. I wish you could order it on the side.
The reason for the low score is because the portion is like a half portion. Very tiny little box about half of the size of similar competitors for the same price.

Stirfry Pad kra was greasy and VERY salty. The dumplings wer quite spicy; the price was much too expensive. The entire bill for these 2 items ( plus $5.50 less than a pint of rice- cold and stuck together) and Doordash charges. and tip was over $70.00, not worth it at all.
