First time ordering from this place and the Miso Soup was fantastic - very flavorful. The steamed vegetable Gyoza is really good. It has a little crunch to it and the sauce is sweet but compliments it well.

Hands down my favorite sushi restaurant in chicago. The fish is always fresh and it delivers well. The sushi is always fantastic but the Chicken Karage left me wanting more. Mostly breading with little meat.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. It used to be my go to sushi spot but tonight's (Wednesday, June 24, wear) takeout order was a severe disappointment. I ordered 8 nigiri (o toro, chu toro, hotategai, kampachi, and madai) and the fish was all trash pieces, a little smelly, sinewy and not well prepared. The hotategi was inedible with bits of hard textured sand particles. I'm too old to walk back over and complain so I just threw it all out. Maybe Wednesday nights are when they unload their days-old product since they are closed on Tuesday. Either way at $75 it was unacceptable. Not the yellowtail I remember. This one appears to be a victim of its own success.
