Normally we love Zaxby's but everyone must be having a hard day today. We ordered off of an app and they got our drinks wrong. The Basket of Texas Toastis usually yummy. Today it was just sad, no flavor at all, was actually kind of gross. The Fried White Cheddar Bites I was thinking, it's fried cheese, you kind of can't screw that up. Well it was. It was fried cheese alright but the batter it was dipped (or probably came packaged) in was extremely thick. Thick batter wouldn't be a problem if it actually had flavor, but alas, it lacked that too. The Fried Pickles were the saving grace! They had the most flavor. Chicken Fingerz™ - 10 were chicken fingers. I think it would do them some good to add some more spices to things and to send out the right stuff with the right order.Crinkle Fries - Large were already getting stiff on us. I don't think we're going to order again for awhile.

We have ordered from this Zaxby's several times. Usually it's always really good. Today we had ordered food with them and for my meal I ordered a large side of fries. I got maybe a small handful of fries. My partner got both of her sides as fries and had the same. Ridiculous to get. sandwich/tenders and a small handful of fries for $13+ and paid extra FOR a large order of fries.

Zaxby's is fine and all, but Buxton Chicken Palace downtown does all this same food but way better. Plus, they're a locally owned independent restaurant that gives 15% off to all locals.

The Kickin Chicken wasn't Kickin. It was basically a chicken tender sandwich with less than a teaspoon of sauce. It was nothing like the image or sandwiches I had prior of the sauce dripping from the sandwich.

Cheddar bites were small order, but chicken and fries were good. I asked for light ice and cup was full.
