Definitely the carrots, but one of the other items as well. and now I'm vaguely remembering that I stopped ordering because the last time I had the same issue with some of the items tasting off. I was disappointed because I was waiting for the restaurant to open all day and couldn't even eat my main dish. also ordered the Lentil Turmeric which was a little salty, but good... and the Beets and almond Cake which was dry and unremarkable but I still ate it. "I was really disappointed. The Veggie/Meat Combo servings are so tiny it is only two bites per portion and not the dishes that were advertised. The Kitfo is so peppery the texture is like sand, not spicy but there is so much black pepper it is inedible. I ordered an additional dish and they end up putting it in the combo so now I have two of the same thing. "Avocado toast? More like guacamole on soggy bread. They did not toast the Avocado Toast!! Or the Tuna Melt. How do you not toast an item with "toast" in the name.... I ordered boiled eggs with the avo toast and they told me at pickup that they didn't have any, but gave me more smoked salmon to make up for it. *checks toast* it only had 2 slices of smoked salmon. Why not just give a refund if you didn't have something that was ordered? Ice Matcha should not even be called a matcha. The cup was white and tasted like someone poured straight coffee creamer in it. Extremely sweet and syrupy. I had even requested no sugar....but got no matcha instead. Really wanted to like this place but the food and drinks need a lot of improvement. "
